THAI YOGA THERAPIES
Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy (Nuad Phaen Boran)
Thai Yoga Therapy can be traced back to the Buddha’s personal physician, Shivago Komarpaj, over 2500 years ago. Traditionally practiced in a temple, offering Thai Yoga sessions is considered to be a practical expression of metta, the Buddhist practice of loving-kindness.
The healing techniques of Thai Yoga Therapy combine acupressure, energy work, stretching, joint mobilization and a series of assisted yoga postures to unblock the major “sen” or energy channels in the body. Thai Yoga Therapy releases tensions and blocked energy, relaxes sore muscles, increases muscle flexibility, increases joint mobility and can be therapeutic for a number of physical and emotional conditions. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing to facilitate the flow of movement.

Thai Herbal
Herbal healing has deep meaning and tradition in Thai culture. A Thai herbal is a slower, profoundly meditative Thai Yoga Therapy session that is directed at repairing the whole person and restoring physical, mental and emotional balance. The application of warm herbal bundles and the soothing aroma melt tension and aching muscles, ease respiration and circulation and bring intensive healing and integration to the body and mind, opening a path for you to become your best self.
As with a Thai Yoga Therapy session, wear comfortable clothing to facilitate movement. *Please wear dark colors for an herbal session.
