What Is Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy?
As we struggle to keep up with the hectic pace of our busy lives, we may find ourselves longing for simplicity, inner peace, and deeper meaning, for a way to heal our bodies, our spirits, and our lives. Though at times we look for outside sources to guide us, somewhere deep inside we know that we
must slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and listen to our own inner voice.
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, through a combination of classical yoga techniques and elements of contemporary body-mind psychology, encourages this deeper connection with self.
A Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy session is a one-on-one process lasting one-and-a-half hours. Through assisted yoga postures and non-directivedialogue, practitioners guide clients to experience the connection of theirphysical and emotional selves. Using focused breathing, this connection is held and explored, fostering release, personal growth and healing.
Fees + Scheduling
All sessions are 90 minutes for $90 (First session may last up to 2 hours.)

Pranassage® with Jennifer O'Sullivan
Pranassage is a creative synthesis of yoga and bodywork that produces profound mental and physical relaxation. Like a marionette, Jen will move your body through a flowing sequence of yoga postures designed to
put you back in touch with your body.
The “magic” of Pranassage comes from the manipulation of prana, the body’s intelligent life force. Prana is the energy behind your heartbeat, the pulses of your nervous system, and the flow of your breath. Through touch, pressure, and traditional yoga postures, Pranassage offers a unique opportunity to inquire into this energy, to resynchronize the mind and body, and to fully experience the present moment.
While the only goal of your Pranassage session is pure relaxation, you may experience other deeply healing effects including increased concentration and energy, realignment of the muscles and bones, and an increase in the flow of blood and nutrients to forgotten parts of your body.
Pranassage is appropriate for people with no previous yoga experience as well as seasoned yoga practitioners because each session is tailored to your individual needs. Your only role in your Pranassage session is to let go and enjoy the experience of being in your own body.

Integrative Therapeutic Massage (ITM)
Gentle rocking motions, long integrative strokes, and encouraging joint articulations invite you to explore new ways of moving, feeling, and being. This dynamic approach to Swedish Massage is Jocelyn's own creation developed from her 25 years of experience with movement and massage. It is inspired by Esalen Bodywork and rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine's Five Element Theory. ITM is designed to facilitate deep relaxation, muscular release and improved range of motion.
Body Divine (BD)
Integrating Thai Yoga Massage, Shiatsu and Inversion Therapy this treatment seeks to align, balance and bring vitality to your body mind spirit. Full body stretches release congested muscles. Range of motion assists free restrictive patterns of movement. Traction and gravity supported lifts open compressed joints. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is an advanced bodywork process that combines the ancient wisdom of yoga, body mind psychology and life coaching. Similar to a yoga class in which there is a Centering, Postures (in PRYT they are assisted), and Integration (what stood out, how is this relevant), you will be coached to stay in the present moment and in a space of physical edge - no pain, but heightened sensation. This is where you will connect with your body, emotions, thoughts and spirit and thus receive wisdom from within.
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions are supportive and non-judgemental. They are excellent for those who live in their head, are experiencing a life transition, or just want to infuse their daily living with more awareness.
