Savor the expansive energy of the spring season with some powerful hip opening poses to transform even the tightest hips.

As the weather gets warmer, our bodies tune to the same awakening and expanding frequency as the world around us. Our hips, frozen from the icy winter weather, take a longer time to thaw. Tight hips can make us feel older than we are, pulling the body inward and putting pressure in particular on the low back.

Counter this process and create new patterns, bringing freedom of movement into your legs, and low back with some of your favorite (or soon to be favorite) yoga poses. While your hips remember their springtime swivel thanks to yoga poses targeting all sides of the pelvis, you’ll create new space physically, as well as energetically in your body.
